My name is Angel Palmer and I am preparing to embark on the journey of a lifetime.

I have a beautiful Black Tennessee Walking Horse named Monte who has proven himself capable of amazing feats. Together we will travel across arid desert, through wooded forests, over grassy wildernesses, and pass many mountain peaks of what is known as the Pacific Crest Trail . . .

I reside in San Diego, CA. I want people to know that as part of the trip and planning, I realized I will need a mule to carry feed and supplies, So I leave Friday, April 28th, for Idaho to go meet "Mustang Sally". She is a black tennessee walking mule who should be able to keep up nicely with my Monte- also a Black Tennessee Walking Horse. During my trip to Idaho I will be meeting up with a woman named Bobby Jo and husband Barney who are professional "Mule Packers". They have extended their home and a free Lesson on packing to myself and my partner Joan, an experience I look forward to sharing with everyone interested.
